Saw this quick tutorial on going from PSD to xhtml/css layouts in web design on Digg this afternoon. Not a bad write up if you're in the market for such information. I continued to be intrigued by the movement towards tableless design despite the somewhat complex nature of layouts done in pure css. It's really the acceptance of the separation of content from display that is driving this movement and that is a very good thing.
